Hello All! Another parkour video shot in Hawaii. I experimented with taking some establishing shots this day and I'm quite pleased with what they added to this video. Not that I'm great at figuring out what shots to take and how to use them, but I think this was a good starting point and it has inspired me to experiment more and learn how to use them effectively.

Waikiki Parkour
My forth and final training day in Hawaii. I had an awesome time wandering around the neighbourhood, finding these sweet spots and figuring out some cool(ish) ways to interact with them. Also, I hope this video gives you a little bit of an idea of what it is like to be in Waikiki. I only wish I had even more time to spend there and the rest of Hawaii!!
Also if you guys aren't subscribed to the Flow channel on YouTube you should be. They put up awesome pk and tricking related stuff all the time! I especially like this video they released recently where Livewire does a review of newly posted excellent parkour videos. Exactly what I need, even more ways to spend time watching videos on youtube!

GoPro Hawaiian Parkour
Hello All! Haven't uploaded in a while because I had to make the long (and sad) journey back home. Now that I am home its great being back, seeing the fam and catching up with old friends. I've got lots of footage to edit still! Probably at least 20 videos to come, all the way back from last November! While I edit those videos enjoy this one!

Another day of parkour in beautiful Hawaii. I love seeing GoPro parkour footage so I shot some of my own. Obviously the tricks aren't comparable to what I've seen online, but I like that I can show people what I see when I'm pk-ing even if the vaults are small :P More to come shortly!

Tricking in Hawaii!
Hello All! Putting out more flipping videos as they are fun and easy, but still let me create something and try to improve my art. I have watched a lot of awesome videos recently, I don't know if what I'm feeling is more envy or inspiration but either way I want to tell stories and share emotions as well Sacha Powell from storrorblog and Devin Graham from devinsupertramp. Certainly I have a long way to go, but I'm sure it will be a fun and rewarding journey!

Tricking in Hawaii!
Found a sweet spot in a circle of palm trees to throw down some tricks near the beach in Waikiki. In this video I tried to show what a session is like instead of just the tricks I landed. I know these aren't the hardest tricks out there, but they are pretty good for me on grass :)

Parkour in Hawaii!
Hello All! This is the first time I've made a video out of chronological order from all the footage I have stored up, but its just taking too long to make these creative, adventure videos. Instead I can quickly pump out some short, fun flipping videos to show everyone what I've been up to in Hawaii!

As this is only my second day of the season I was practicing some basics and individual flips. It's good to see I haven't lost too much over the winter and that all my indoor wall flip practice has paid off. This is the first time I tried and landed a wall-front and wall-arabian outdoors! Hopefully more parkour videos to come soon as I explore my new neighbourhood a little more!
Also I found this excellent TED talk about some issues with the American political system. I really think everyone should watch it, American or not!

Back from the Dead
Hello World! Contrary to what the recent inactivity of my posts would have you believe, I am alive and well. I have been having such amazing experience and adventures that I haven't had time to update this blog in almost 6 months!! Yikes! Thats way too long. Working on that movie took up a good chuck of that time, as well as travelling lots and loving life! Laziness may have played a small part in my dry spell, but I think I was concentrating more on having a great time with awesome people in cool places. As well, I've been trying to work through some personal issues I've been having. Either way it has been way too long since I last posted and I have been feeling the lack of creation in my life. Certainly I haven't stopped training and adventuring, but I've realized that it feels damn good to make videos, tell a story; take something from my brain and put it in a form I can share with other people. It is excellent and I have missed it, but I'm back at it, and I'm glad! :D
So briefly, I worked on a movie as the lead character's stunt double. Unreal experience, may haps I'll write a post dedicated to just that. That occupied my time up until November, 2012. Free from that, I flew to Salt Lake City, Utah on my birthday to join my girlfriend, Cassandra, and our friend who have been living and working at an internship there for 2 months already. We stayed there for another month and a half having an AMAZING TIME!! They would work during the day, I would rock climb, snowboard, play saxophone, read, and spend too much time on Reddit, basically doing whatever I wanted. On the weekends we would have wild adventures in southern Utah and Colorado. Oh my god if you ever get the chance to explore that part of the world do it! It is unique and incredibly beautiful! I will post two videos from those adventures today. Of course they cannot show you what it is truly like there, but hopefully it is enough to light the fire to get you to go.
After my amazing time in Utah, Cassandra and I drove up through Montana to Calgary, Alberta stopping at Big Sky and Fernie to board. Hot damn! Fernie had a lot of powder the three days we were there! I went home for Christmas which was great to see the whole family again, especially with my sister and her new husband coming home from England. Three weeks in Toronto was fun hanging out with friends and training, then it was back to Calgary for more snowboarding and climbing! A few weekend trips to Fernie and Revelstoke and I feel like my boarding is at a whole new level!! Damn it feels good to play on and interact with a snow covered mountain, and Revelstoke... oh my goodness if Revelstoke is not the most fun mountain in the world than I dont know what is! Hopefully that video will come out soon!

It was awesome to have my sister here, and sad to see her leave, but we have a number of other visitors coming and and we have made some super cool friends already. I cant wait to share with everyone some of the awesome adventures I have had, and will have while I'm in this beautiful place :D

GoPro Slot Canyoneering
As my first adventure in Utah my friends and I went canyoneering in Leprechaun Canyon. None of us really had any idea what it would be like, all we knew was that parts of the movie 127 Hours was shot in this canyon. Once we started the day we were already blown away by the gorgeous scenery on the drive, and when we got hiking and in the actual canyon we all had the biggest, goofiest smiles on our faces!! It ended up being one of the most awesome outdoor experiences I have ever had! SUCH A FUN DAY!! I absolutely recommend anyone who is physically fit and likes adventures go do a slot canyon in southern Utah!
Hidden Canyon Adventure, Zion
A long weekend in Utah and you better believe we headed to Zion National Park for some sick adventures! We left Salt Lake in the morning so we only had time for a short hike in the afternoon but Hidden Canyon ended up blowing our expectations away! Perhaps this video doesn't do a good enough job of capturing what it was really like being there, but damn it was nice! Awesome adventure, beautiful scenery, great people... cant ask for much more :)
UFF Ep. 4 - Ezio vs Solid Snake
For those of you who couldn't tell, I was Ezio :P It was crazy shooting this as it was damn cold (like 5 to 10deg Celsius) and rainy every day. Not to mention, this shoot took place while my movie shoot was currently going on! So instead of getting these 4 days to rest and recover I got to do more crazy stunts and then go right back to my movie! Damn what a whirlwind, but it was so worth it! :) It was crazy and stressful but looking back it was a great experience. I did some cool ass stunts: flipping off a moving car, the roof gap and diving off that high roof into a bunch of cardboard boxes. Not to mention all the hand-to-hand fighting we did that James was being super picky about, but I'm glad he was because it looks great! George (Solid Snake) kicked ass as did the whole crew. It was a great time and I hope everyone enjoys the video!

Summer School is OVER!!
Hello everyone! I am finally done summer school!! It was a lot harder to get back into student mode than I had originally thought! I didn't get to train much over the last 3 months and I only was able to film little bits here and there. I have made two videos of some of my training and adventures with the guys. Also, summer school ended a while ago but the day after I finished I got a job as the lead character's stunt double on a movie! It's awesome but it has left me with very little free time which is why these videos are only coming out now. Unfortunately this also means that I don't think very many videos will be coming out for the next few months :( I have plans to improve the blog at night, but I am working all day so cool adventures wont be happening that often. I do have travel plans for after the movie so I should be getting up to some entertaining stuff in November. Hopefully you'll like what I have to share until then!

The boys and I found a day to head downtown Toronto to get in some pk action in on one of my days off from summer school. It was a good day but unfortunately a little short. I cant wait to get back out there!!

Batman vs. Captain America
Hello Everyone!
Again I apologize about the lack of posts. Summer school is killing me! I come home, watch parkour and rock climbing videos and get sad that I can't train every day :( I do get to meet up with the guys on Fridays though and we filmed a fun video last week, but because of my homework I haven't been able to edit it. When I am done school on August 13th I will probably celebrate by training like mad and going climbing outdoors and stuff. THEN I will edit a bunch of videos of the footage I have been saving up over the past three months!!
BUT in the mean time, the project that I said the team was working on a LONG time ago has finally arrived!! It is called Ultimate Fan Fights (UFF) and we are making a web series of epic battles between two fictional characters! The first episode is out and its Batman vs. Captain America. Eli played the captain and Eric played Batman and I think they did a kick ass job! Check it out!!
There are more to come soon so keep checking in to get updates!! Now back to homework :P
