Hey All,
Life in Malaysia is going well. I've been travelling for work and fun since I last wrote and I've been training like mad. Hopefully all this effort will make something amazing when this project is over but for now we are in the thick of things as shooting starts here next week! I shot this latest video back in February but as I've been travelling and working so much I've only be able to release it now. I hope it was worth the wait!
Killing It at the New Monkey Vault
Mr. Jonny Caines and I went to the new Monkey Vault in February to do some flips. The excellent Yung Lee brought his glide-cam rig and some sexy camera work and this is what we shot. I hope you like it!
Also you can see me in the latest X-Men trailer for about 0.25s :P Really you wont know I'm there unless you know which scene it is (the third clip of Mystique when she is blue and killing people). Anyway this iteration looks pretty cool, hopefully it doesn't fail on the delivery.

Malaysian Adventures
Hello Everyone and Greetings from Malaysia!
I am living and working in Malaysia right now which is freaking fantastic! I was hired to do stunts for a project that is filming here and a few other locations around the world :) It has been a whirlwind of travel, meeting new friends and intense training but somewhere in all of that I have managed to edit another video. I shot this at the very end of 2013, just after the new Monkey Vault opened up near my new apartment.
The New Monkey Vault
After training for a week at the brand new Monkey Vault that opened up minutes away from my new apartment I shot this video with a friend. He wanted to test out his new pocket dolly so I did some simple things around the gym. If you're in Toronto you should definitely go check out the gym, it's awesome!! Also the next video I shot here is much better!
At the end of 2012 I was the lead characters stunt double in a movie called Wolves. It has been in post production FOREVER but finally it is being released. Here is the trailer. Every time the lead is in wolf form and doing action that is me :) I can't wait to see the whole thing!!
Hopefully I'll be writing some updates about my trip and life here in Malaysia as I'll be around for the next 6 months!

Adventures in China
Hello All! It has been quite a while since I've made a post. Was dealing with some brutal personal shit but now that is all behind me and I'm back to training and making videos again. This one comes from some footage I took on a trip to China at the end of 2013.
Angry Birds Parkour
I went to China to work on a movie and afterward I spent a bit of time travelling around the country. I went to a town near Shanghai with Kyle Shapiro and his friends from Link Parkour to test out the new parkour facilities in the Angry Birds Activity Park. It was a really cool place but unfortunately the rain cut our training short. Still had a lot of fun and did a few moves outside for the first time!
(Kyle thanks again for letting me stay at your place!!)
Also I love snowboarding and snowboarding videos. If you do too then check this out! It will blow your mind!
Happy to be back :)

Last Hawaiian Training Day :(
Hello All! Another parkour video shot in Hawaii. I experimented with taking some establishing shots this day and I'm quite pleased with what they added to this video. Not that I'm great at figuring out what shots to take and how to use them, but I think this was a good starting point and it has inspired me to experiment more and learn how to use them effectively.
Enjoy!
Waikiki Parkour
My forth and final training day in Hawaii. I had an awesome time wandering around the neighbourhood, finding these sweet spots and figuring out some cool(ish) ways to interact with them. Also, I hope this video gives you a little bit of an idea of what it is like to be in Waikiki. I only wish I had even more time to spend there and the rest of Hawaii!!
Also if you guys aren't subscribed to the Flow channel on YouTube you should be. They put up awesome pk and tricking related stuff all the time! I especially like this video they released recently where Livewire does a review of newly posted excellent parkour videos. Exactly what I need, even more ways to spend time watching videos on youtube!

GoPro Hawaiian Parkour
Hello All! Haven't uploaded in a while because I had to make the long (and sad) journey back home. Now that I am home its great being back, seeing the fam and catching up with old friends. I've got lots of footage to edit still! Probably at least 20 videos to come, all the way back from last November! While I edit those videos enjoy this one!
GoPro Hawaiian Parkour
Another day of parkour in beautiful Hawaii. I love seeing GoPro parkour footage so I shot some of my own. Obviously the tricks aren't comparable to what I've seen online, but I like that I can show people what I see when I'm pk-ing even if the vaults are small :P More to come shortly!

Parkour in Hawaii!
Hello All! This is the first time I've made a video out of chronological order from all the footage I have stored up, but its just taking too long to make these creative, adventure videos. Instead I can quickly pump out some short, fun flipping videos to show everyone what I've been up to in Hawaii!
Enjoy!
Parkour in Hawaii!
As this is only my second day of the season I was practicing some basics and individual flips. It's good to see I haven't lost too much over the winter and that all my indoor wall flip practice has paid off. This is the first time I tried and landed a wall-front and wall-arabian outdoors! Hopefully more parkour videos to come soon as I explore my new neighbourhood a little more!
Also I found this excellent TED talk about some issues with the American political system. I really think everyone should watch it, American or not!
Enjoy!

Summer School is OVER!!
Hello everyone! I am finally done summer school!! It was a lot harder to get back into student mode than I had originally thought! I didn't get to train much over the last 3 months and I only was able to film little bits here and there. I have made two videos of some of my training and adventures with the guys. Also, summer school ended a while ago but the day after I finished I got a job as the lead character's stunt double on a movie! It's awesome but it has left me with very little free time which is why these videos are only coming out now. Unfortunately this also means that I don't think very many videos will be coming out for the next few months :( I have plans to improve the blog at night, but I am working all day so cool adventures wont be happening that often. I do have travel plans for after the movie so I should be getting up to some entertaining stuff in November. Hopefully you'll like what I have to share until then!
Enjoy!
Summer School Dayz
Here is a compilation of the random things I filmed during my training over the three months I was in summer school. There is a parkour day in there as well as some gym and tricking session, stunt stuff Dylan and I were working on and some other random fun things :)
Summer School Parkour
The boys and I found a day to head downtown Toronto to get in some pk action in on one of my days off from summer school. It was a good day but unfortunately a little short. I cant wait to get back out there!!
Also here is the next episode of our Ultimate Fan Fights webseries! Ryu vs. Scorpion! I even do two of the stunts as Scorpion! Hope you enjoy!

KILLING the Wallflips
Hello there! Again decided to neglect my homework duties and made a video instead :)
Enjoy!
KILLING the Wallflips
I went to Waterloo, Ont to spend the May long weekend with my awesome girlfriend. While she was studying away I couldn't resist the nice weather and had to do some parkour around the University of Waterloo campus. I was thinking I would have a relaxed session but I must have been super powered by the sun because I ended up throwing down HARD! I tried and landed 5 NEW WALLFLIPS for the FIRST TIME outside! Everything other than the first 2-step wallflip I have never tried, or even really thought about trying outside before! After that major boost I continued to explore the campus and found some pretty decent spots. I really like the chest high concrete block I found where I did those 4 flowy-ish combos. Towards the end of the day Cass joins me and does a few tricks of her own! Amazing and unexpectedly successful day!!
Interesting Pic of the Day!
I know its a few weeks late but its still good. Why is one considered appropriate and the other ridiculous?
Enjoy!

Instead of Doing Homework I made Videos!
Hello Everyone! So this is my first post in a few weeks because as the title implies I have started school. I am taking a whole lot of summer school courses to finally finish my degree! Yay!! Unfortunately this means I wont be able to spend as much time making sweet videos. Boo! I finished an exam the other day so I thought that was a good excuse to catch up on my videos! I had footage from three days so you get three videos today. I'll try and keep them coming regularly but that kind of depends on my work load.
Enjoy!
Tricking in a Swarm of Bees
Jonny, Dylan, Eli and I were on our way to a rock climbing session but decided to do some outdoor tricking as a warm up. We scoured the area around the climbing gym and found a lovely looking patch of grass, BUT attached to that was the beginning of a forest trail. OBVIOUSLY we took trail!! It lead us into a ravine and found a river at the bottom where the video starts. After we explored down there we headed back up for our tricking session but we didn't realize that that patch of grass was home to a colony of bees. The more we tricked the more they came out and by the end they were probably thousands! But for whatever reasons these ones were chill. They didn't want to sting us, just fly all around us. They were grey-coloured and looked smaller than normal wasps but definitely were wasps. If there are any bee experts out there who want to shed some light on this I am curious to find out what was up with those little guys!
Awesome Gym Pk Session
Another night at Scarborough Gym Elites means another night of new tricks! I'm so productive when I am there! I landed both a palm flip and a reverse fly-away barani for the first time! Now I just have to do them outside!!
Parkour: Tony Hawk Stlye
Jonny, Eli and I headed to a skate park near Eli's new condo. It was a really great session as the park wasn't busy and wasn't too big. There weren't tons of ramps/jumps to use so we had jump get a little creative and combine our individual tricks into a bunch of group shots. I am actually quite pleased with how these shots we threw together came out after just one or two tries! ...alright maybe three or four :P
Oh and Eric, Carl and I were in Gak Attack's latest video! Check it out!!

Magical Parkour Adventure
Hello World! Another Flipping Out SPECIAL here for you today! Plus you get an extended version of the adventure we took. What a treat! :P
Enjoy!
Magical Parkour Adventure
Jonny, Dlyan, Eli and I headed to the Scarborough Bluffs for some outdoor parkour fun. Little did we realize we would be undertaking an awesome adventure up, over and down the cliffs, through swarms of insects, clearing massive gaps and tight-rope walking across perilous bridges!! There was even a fawn to guide us! Kidding <3 Seriously we did get up to an awesome adventure, we had really great time doing it and had a lot of fun jumping around the rocks at the water's edge after. We had such a good day that I thought I should make a SPECIAL out of it. I hope you can get a sense of the fun we had through this video :)
Plus check out the extended version if you want to feel what it's like going on a hike with us. Listen to all our stupid jokes and witty(?) banter! I personally love when Jonny overshoots his jump and hangs on by his toes!
Magical Parkour Adventure EXTENDED ADVENTURE EDIT... Now with more adventure
This is the extended version of Magical Parkour Adventure. We had such a great time on the hike that I thought I should post a mostly unedited version so you can hear what we say to each other and really feel what it's like to go on a hike with us. Check out the full version if you want to see more flips and blend modes :)

Sick New Moves
Hello Everyone! Short video today from my training session last night :)
Enjoy!
Sick New Moves
Had a productive training session at Scarborough Gym Elites! I finally landed my first reverse fly away! After I worked on a big kong to grab on the uneven bars. I did this well last week, but I wasn't quite as successful this time. Maybe the bars were farther or higher? Also I learned the push wall side flip or whatever you call it! I have wanted this move for a long time but always forgot to train it. I wish I had done it sooner because it is actually really easy, but still a sweet new move!! Yay! :P

Awesome U of T Parkour
Hello Everyone! Sweet parkour day and I attempt to get a little fancy with the editing :)
Enjoy!
Awesome U of T Parkour
Jonny and I go out for some pk around the University of Toronto campus. We had a great time exploring and discovering lots of really good training areas. I love that if you find an area that doesn't seem great for parkour, but you stay there long enough you'll eventually find some awesome ways to train there. As long as you get creative any space can be a great place to move and flip! Because we had such a great day I wanted the video to be a little nicer so I spent some time learning about color correction and frame blending techniques. This is my first attempt to give a video some style so it probably looks pretty amateur but it was fun trying to figure that stuff out. Just another way to express myself!! :)
Amazing Quote of the Day
I sometimes feel like an alien creature
for which there is no earthly explanation
Sure I have human form
walking erect and opposing digits,
but my mind is upside down.
I feel like a run-on sentence
in a punctuation crazy world.
And I see the world around me
like a mad collective dream.
An endless stream of people
move like ants from the freeway
cell phones, pc's, and digital displays
"In Money We Trust,"
we'll find happiness
the prevailing attitude;
like a genetically modified irradiated Big Mac
is somehow symbolic of food.
Morality is legislated
prisons over-populated
religion is incorporated
the profit-motive has permeated all activity
we pay our government to let us park on the street
And war is the biggest money-maker of all
we all know missile envy only comes from being small.
Politicians and prostitutes
are comfortable together
I wonder if they talk about the strange change in the weather.
This government was founded by, of, and for the people
but everybody feels it
like a giant open sore
they don't represent us anymore
And blaming the President for the country's woes
is like yelling at a puppet
for the way it sings
Who's the man behind the curtain pulling the strings?
A billion people sitting watching their TV
in the room that they call living
but as for me
I see living as loving
and since there is no loving room
I sit on the grass under a tree
dreaming of the way things used to be
Pre-Industrial Revolution
which of course is before the rivers and oceans,
and skies were polluted
before Parkinson's, and mad cows
and all the convoluted cacophony of bad ideas
like skyscrapers, and tree paper, and earth rapers
like Monsanto and Dupont had their way
as they continue to today.
This was Pre-us
back when the buffalo roamed
and the Indian's home
was the forest, and God was nature
and heaven was here and now
Can you imagine clean water, food, and air
living in community with animals and people who care?
Do you dare to feel responsible for every dollar you lay down
are you going to make the rich man richer
or are you going to stand your ground
You say you want a revolution
a communal evolution
to be a part of the solution
maybe I'll be seeing you around

Triple Discipline
Hello All! Trained three disciplines today, and had a great time doing all of them!
Enjoy!
Triple Discipline
Martyr and Eric start off by both doing their best Mike Tyson impression. Not quite sure who has the better one! Then Eli led us through a new series of boxing drills where we weren't hitting pads but instead we had to parry/block/dodge the punches. A fun challenge and again something Eli looks much more comfortable doing than me! After we had a fairly low key tricking session. I haven't been feeling too into tricking recently and I think my body is recognizing that because my muscles did not feel like going hard on the tricks today. Later that day I went to Scarborough Gym Elites and trained some parkour moves. I worked on what I think are called plyometric jumps (the one foot jumps from beam to beam). I finished up working on my fly-aways and landed a double full fly-away for the first time! Yay!!
Enjoy!

Waterloo Parkour
Hello Everyone! I had a fun parkour day on Friday and then a great weekend so I thought I would share an idea I had.
Enjoy!
Waterloo Parkour
Double parkour training day today! Started off early in the morning with Dylan hitting up that big rock we found the other week. It was fun as we were forced to get a little creative so we didn't just repeat the things we did last time. We were joined by Eli very briefly in the park where I had my huge bail. He quickly showed me up doing the kong that I fell on, as I knew he would. Why does he have to be so good at things?! Later after 4 hours of driving in brutal traffic my legs HAD to jump so I went to a new location in Waterloo, Ont. I had a great time there as initially I couldn't see much to do but after hanging around I found some fun obstacles. Also there were some jumps that scared me when I first checked them out but after psyching myself up I was able to do them! It's always great to conquer some fears in a parkour session!
Interesting Thought of the Day!
If we didn't have supermarkets, we wouldn't have people damaging the environment.
Enjoy!

Parkour at Brickworks
Hello World! One of my favourite video I have made so far! Matches one of my favourite days of the year! Awesome day parkouring at Brickworks and a rewarding bouldering day!
Enjoy!
Parkour at Brickworks
Wow I LOVE this heat wave!! 30 degress in Toronto in March! That's unheard of!! With weather like that I just had to go out and enjoy one of the few places of natural beauty in the city of Toronto. Evergreen Brickworks was basically where I fell in love with parkour last year. We had so many great days there expressing ourselves through movement, hanging out with friends and connecting with nature. How could you not fall in love with that sport and that place?! Well we got an early start at it this year and it was a great day! Dylan and I started with some simple, fun pair stuff and then after Dylan left Yung and I were shooting a video to promote this sweet new iPhone app. I love the sun!!! Great day!!
Solo Bouldering
Went to the climbing gym by myself and had a pretty good session. I find I can train solo quite effectively, I can be fairly dedicated/regimented if I want and pulled I that off fairly well here. I had quite a few tries on two very challenging V4's at first. They are a little beyond my level at this point but I'm hoping if I keep trying them I will get them eventually. Then I made a lot of attempts at a problem that was probably somewhere between V3 and 4. I only tried it so many times because I knew I could get it... and I did! I love getting a run at the end of a long, hard day!
Great day!!

Carl's Magical Backyard
Hello Everyone! This is the first video showing you what summer days in Carl's awesome backyard are like! Plus as Dylan is simply trying to clean up the floor in RMA, Eli instigates a massive and brutal wrestling battle. What a bully!
Enjoy!
Carl's Magical Backyard
This is your first introduction to the wonderful world that is Carl's backyard! Many a summer day were spent here last year and thanks to this awesome heat wave we are getting an early crack at doing the same this year! Carl built a jump/ramp and dug a sand pit for landings late last year and this was my first chance using it. It is awesome! It gets you tons of height and it's a lot more sturdy than it looks. Hopefully we can build more things this year and make his backyard into a training paradise! The other guys weren't feeling like going hard of the jump like I was but it was still a super fun/chill/relaxing day in the sun!
Rowdy Tricking Session
What started off as a nice, relaxing day of training at RMA soon turned into a full out free-for-all wrestling battle! I sped it up so you don't have to hear our screams of pain, instead now it merely sounds like laughter. But dont let that fool you! This was serious, I think Dylan tore some ligaments and maybe even lost a...... testicle! After that we all decided to be friends again and after some more training (and bad dancing) we all landed a bad side b-twist! Later I go rock climbing where I failed many times at a really tough V4 and found a cool 5.12- climb whose bottom was just like a fun boulder problem.
Enjoy!

Awesome Parkour Bail
Hello Everyone! Carl and Jonny get into a capoeria battle one day and then I take a huge bail when we are out parkouring! Awesome week!
Enjoy!
They're Breakdance Fighting
We start with some more bad dancing by yours truly. Then Carl and Jonny get into a cool looking capoeira tussle. Later Dylan wants to rekindle hes skater boy youth and bring in his new deck to show off some tricks. Finally after weeks of attempts I finish that V4 I had been working on! That was probably the most attempts I've ever made at a problem. I'm pumped that I finally finished it!!
Huge Parkour Bail
The heat wave continues in Toronto so Jonny, Dylan and I head out for an awesome day of parkouing! We found two new locations today and had a great time exploring them through our noob-ish parkour moves! Just before we wrap it up after a long day I decide to go for one final jump, and the biggest one yet. This was clearly not the smartest idea as I take a SPECTACULAR bail! I gave up almost immediately after taking off. Why? I don't know! But no serious harm done, just a bit of a sore neck the next day :)

First Parkour Day
Hello World! First day of parkour for the year!! Its great to finally get outside! Plus a fun, well rounded training session.
Enjoy!
Martyr Feeling Frisky
Eli must have eaten something weird for breakfast today because he was acting rather strange at the beginning of practice. Wrestling people and doing a freaky dance with Carl, and there were some things so grotesque that I couldn't even show them in this video. But then he made up for it by leading us through some sweet punching/kicking drills. We finish up the day with some new, harder XSD conditioning.
First Parkour Day
James must have been holding in some anger towards us because he went on a jujitsu rampage when he came into the studio! Fortunately Jonny and I escaped mostly unharmed and we fled for the safety of the outdoors. There we realized that a freaky spring time heat wave had struck Toronto which allowed Jonny and I to do some parkouring extra early this year! Boy it feels great to be exercising out in the sun with some fresh air! It is hilarious to watch this as it is painfully clear this is our first day out parkouring. You can see our fear and hesitation as we make some small and weak jumps. But eventually we get comfortable and it ends up being a really fun day! Later I try and fail many times on a V4 that I have been working on for a while. Very frustrating!
